Losses are decreasing, Alan Wake 2 has not yet broken even — main points from the Remedy report
Remedy Entertainment has released its report for the first half of 2024. Here are the highlights.
Alan Wake II: Night Springs
- Compared to 2023, Remedy’s revenue grew by 33.7% to €21.1 million.
- The company's operating losses significantly decreased. Over the year, they were reduced from €10.4 million to €5.3 million.
- Royalties from game sales amounted to €2.7 million. Most of the revenue came from Control and Alan Wake Remastered.
- Remedy still does not receive royalties from the sales of Alan Wake 2, but the game has covered most of its development and marketing costs.
- The remake of the Max Payne duology and the Control spin-off under the working title Condor have moved into full development. Control 2 has moved to the production readiness stage.
- Remedy has formed a team that will manage the company’s already released games.
- As of June 30, 2024, Remedy employed 361 people. A year ago, there were fewer employees—347 people.
