VG Insights: The success of the Fallout series could bring Bethesda an additional $80 million in revenue
Thanks to the Fallout series, Bethesda could earn tens of millions of dollars by fall, according to a report from VG Insights. Analysts estimated the potential revenue for the company from the games Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, as well as the TV show itself, from April to September 2024.
Fallout 76
The chosen dates are not random. April 10 marks the premiere of the series. As for September, analysts assume that the revenue growth will end by then.
Projected figures:
- During this period, Fallout 4 is expected to sell 2 million copies, generating $22 million in sales revenue;
- Fallout 76 sales are anticipated to be 1-1.5 million copies. Sales revenue from copies will be $16 million, with an additional $12 million from in-game sales;
- Royalties from the TV series license are estimated at $30 million.
