Aristocrat disclosed this information in its financial report. It clarified that no decisions have been made yet and all future options for its subsidiaries are under consideration. The primary goal is to "enhance shareholder value and ensure the continued success of these enterprises."

In the same report, Aristocrat noted that Plarium and Big Fish Games are significant assets that helped the company cope with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. They also played a large role in the growth of the group of companies' business.

The revenue of the Pixel United division, which includes Plarium and Big Fish Games along with Product Madness, fell by 1% to $872.2 million from October 2023 to March 2024. Revenues from social casino games increased by 2.4% to $496.3 million, while revenues from RPGs, strategy, and action games dropped by 4.2% to $283.7 million, and casual games revenues declined by 7% to $97.2 million. The most profitable game in the division for this half-year was RAID: Shadow Legends, with revenues amounting to $220.9 million (-0.7%).
