The studio did not tell how sales were distributed across platforms. Recall that Skul: The Hero Slayer is available on PC, as well as on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles. Previously, it could be played through a Game Pass subscription, so the total audience of the game should be larger.
Skul: The Hero Slayer went into early access on February 4, 2020, and reached full release on January 21, 2021. The game received good reviews from critics: on Metacritic, the press rated its PC version 80 out of 100 points. Gamers also warmly welcomed the project. At the time of writing, Skul: The Hero Slayer has more than 41 thousand reviews on Steam, of which 93% are positive.
According to SteamDB, the game reached its peak online on Steam on the day of release, when it was able to attract 18,970 people at the same time.
