Candy Crush Saga has reached an impressive milestone. King, in an interview with Reuters, announced that to date its game has earned $ 20 billion.

The number of downloads of Candy Crush Saga has exceeded 5 billion.

"We have proven to ourselves and the industry that it is possible to breathe new life into games released years ago, keep them relevant for decades or more, and set a record even ten years after release," said King President Tjodolf Sommestad.

Candy Crush Saga was released in 2012. The game was originally released on the King website, then on Facebook*, and by the end of the year it reached mobile stores.
