Activision Blizzard has published financial statements for the second fiscal quarter. She's doing very well

In total, in April-June 2023, the company earned $2.2 billion. Of this amount, $520 million is revenue from games, and the remaining $1.6 billion is from micropayments and subscriptions. The company’s net profit for the quarter totaled $587 million.

As for the divisions, the story is as follows:

Activision‘s revenue grew by 17% year—on-year, and operating profit by 80% (primarily due to the Call of Duty line of games, whose total audience reached 90 million games);

Blizzard‘s revenue grew by 160% year—on-year, and operating profit jumped three times (!), the division’s revenues reached $1 billion for the first time in history (the main driver here is Diablo IV, which 10 million people played in June);

▫️King‘s revenue grew by 9% in annual terms (the amount is not called, but it is said that it has reached record values), as for net receipts, they have grown by 10% (here the growth factor is the Candy Crush series games).
