Warren Buffett's company sold 7.4 million shares of Activision Blizzard
Berkshire Hathaway, owned by investor Warren Buffett, got rid of part of Activision Blizzard shares at the end of last year. This became known from the company’s report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
However, Berkshire Hathaway still owns a fairly large share of the publisher of Call of Duty. Her portfolio includes Activision Blizzard shares worth $4 billion.
Buffett’s company first bought Activision Blizzard shares (about 2% for $1 billion) in December 2021, shortly before Microsoft announced a deal with the publisher. In the spring of 2022, Berkshire Hathaway increased its share to 9.5%. According to approximate calculations, now its share has decreased by 1%.
