By 2024, the revenue of the cloud gaming market in Russia will grow to $68 million — 14.8 times from 2020
This forecast was shared by Roman Epishin, Marketing Director of VK Play Cloud, who relied on PwC data and GFN.RU .
He also said that now the monthly audience of cloud gaming services in Russia is 500 thousand people. As Epishin expects, over the next five years this figure will rise 10 times to 5 million people.
Among the key reasons for the growth of the market is the COVID—19 pandemic and the high cost of gaming hardware.
