CD PROJEKT will spend over $20 million to buy back part of its shares
Yesterday, shortly after the presentation of the updated strategy, CD PROJEKT made another announcement. She said that she was starting to buy back shares worth up to 100 million zlotys or $20.7 million.
Polish developers are ready to buy 2 million shares at a price of no more than 200 zloty ($41.4) apiece. The program will last from October 5 to October 28.
On the evening of October 4, CD PROJEKT announced that it plans to release five more games in The Witcher universe, a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a project for a new IP. She will also have a second studio in North America (in Boston). At the same time, CD PROJEKT co-founder Marcin Iwiński will leave the post of CEO and become Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
