Totilo: the release of PS exclusives on PC significantly increases game sales
Sony‘s strategy of porting console exclusives to PC is bearing fruit. Last week, journalist Stephen Totilo from Axios looked at how the company’s game sales have changed in the United States after the PC versions appeared.
Days Gone‘s sales grew the most. A month before the release on PC, the title was ranked 247th among the best-selling games in the United States (NPD Group chart). In May 2021, he got to the 20th place right away.
God of War at one time rose from 146th to 5th place, Horizon Zero Dawn – from 89th to 12th place, and Marvel’s Spider-Man — from 84th to 3rd place.
