Square Enix has sold Western studios due to fears that their games will harm the sales of other titles of the company

Square Enix announced this during the presentation of the quarterly report to investors, analyst David Gibson says on Twitter. What exactly the company meant is not explained.

Square Enix is also going to “diversify the capital structure.” This may mean that the publisher is thinking about selling shares in other studios owned by him. As Gibson suggests, Sony, Tencent and Nexon may be interested in such a deal.
