Capcom's quarterly sales have fallen. The lack of major releases is to blame for everything
Capcom shared the results of the first fiscal quarter ended June 30. The Japanese company said that its net sales sank to $184.6 million (-47.9%), and operating profit — to $88.27 (-48.9%).
As Capcom explained, the quarter looks weak due to the fact that in the same period last year she published a “major novelty” – Resident Evil Village. Now there were no such releases.
Nevertheless, Capcom still plans to get record revenue for the entire fiscal year.
