Mobile "GWINT" began to earn less against the background of leaving Russia. Its revenue fell by a third

In early March, CD PROJEKT announced that it was suspending sales of games in Russia and Belarus. Apparently, this decision affected the income of at least one project — the collectible card game “GWINT”.

According to the AppMagic service, in March, the revenue of the mobile version of “GWINT” sank more than twice compared to February — from $180.6 thousand to $86.8 thousand. Later, revenue increased, but did not reach the February values. For example, during the 26 days of May, “GWINT” earned $120.3 thousand.

It is incorrect to say that the fall occurred directly due to the departure of the title from the Russian and Belarusian markets. But these events are connected.

In particular, since last April, Russia has been the second largest country for GWINT, second only to the United States. Every month she generated about $20 thousand. The loss of this amount should have been painful for the game. As for Belarus, it brought only $500-800 per month.

In addition to mobile, “GWINT” is also available on PC. It is not known how the situation has developed there.
