Ubisoft Annual Report: sales of over €2 billion and 141 million unique players

Ubisoft has published a financial report for the year (ended March 31). Sales turned out to be record-breaking and exceeded € 2 billion, and the total number of unique players on PC and consoles reached 141 million. Sales for the year amounted to €2.2 billion, which is 46.1% more in annual terms.

  • Operating profit (calculated in accordance with the IFRS standard) amounted to €289.4 million, and excluding IFRS — €473.3 million.
  • Digital copies brought the company €1.6 billion, which accounted for 71.8% of total sales.
  • At the same time, 57.5% of all sales fell on the back catalog, i.e. on Ubisoft games already released before the reporting period.The PS4/PS5 had the most sales for the year — 33%.

The revenue of the Assassin’s Creed franchise turned out to be a record and increased by 50% compared to the previous record, which was set in fiscal 2012.
