Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Loses Revenue in the US
The role-playing game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes in the USA, the game began to earn noticeably less, and in Germany, on the contrary.
The main earnings of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes still come from the American market. In the second quarter of 2018, the share of revenue from it was 58% ($31.8 million). However, if compared with the same period last year, American players spent 22% less in the game. And this despite the fact that in May a new film of the franchise was released – “Han Solo. Star Wars: Stories”.
Germany accounts for 7% of revenue ($3.9 million) – and here Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes earned 17% more than a year ago.
As for global indicators, compared to the quarterly revenue of 2017, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes earned 14% less in April-June – $54.8 million versus $63.6 million. But it’s still more than a quarter of EA’s earnings from mobile – no other mobile game brings the company as much.
