The participants of the transaction officially confirmed the beginning of the process of acquiring Tencent shares of the authors of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale from the Japanese company SoftBank.
The purchase of a controlling stake (84%) comes from the valuation of Supercell in the region of $10.2 billion. Acquires 73% of the shares from SoftBank. The rest, apparently, is from Supercell.
Recall that in 2013 SoftBank acquired a 51% stake from a Finnish company for $1.53 billion. A year ago, Supercell was valued at $5.25 billion.
