The company itself explains the financial growth with good indicators of the game Summoners War.
The project started in mid-June 2014 and not so long ago celebrated a year since its release. It was quite popular on the Asian market from the very beginning, but for the Western market it was necessary to conduct an aggressive campaign to purchase users. Recall that a “point” marketing strategy was developed for the game. The target audience was chosen by residents of Los Angeles and the surrounding area, and the stars of the Vine video network and a famous street artist were attracted to promote the project.
The campaign obviously proved to be effective: 37% of sales in the second quarter were in the US market. For comparison, Asian markets (excluding Korea) provided 44% of sales, and European markets, where no campaigns were conducted – 13%. The remaining 6% belongs to South America.
Com2uS has promised to follow the same strategy in the future. It will conduct “aggressive marketing campaigns” for Summoners War and in other markets.
