The Story Mob, an esports consultancy, has revamped its identity, now calling itself a "strategic player culture advisory"
The consultancy firm in the esports sector, known as The Story Mob, has rebranded itself as a "strategic player culture advisory." This change aims to expand their reach within the gaming industry.
The firm will now deliver services in social strategy, community management, marketing campaigns, along with guidance for publishers, technology entities, and consumer brands.
"As gaming has evolved into realms of sports, entertainment, identity, and community, so has our operation," remarked Anna Rozwandowicz, the CEO and founder.
"We began with gaming culture. Now, player culture offers the opportunity within the rituals, communities, and relationships formed by play that go beyond the game itself," she added.
The Story Mob has introduced "Play Makers," a "strategic consultancy service" designed to enlighten brands about player culture.
By providing "immersive strategy sessions" rather than conventional marketing seminars, Play Makers assists brands, rights holders, and executive teams in comprehending their role within player culture and connecting with pertinent communities.
Managing director Karen Low mentioned, "Play Makers allows brands to access those insights directly, aiding them in avoiding typical errors and developing strategies that resonate genuinely with players."
Since its inception in 2018, The Story Mob has collaborated with notable organizations such as Riot Games, Square Enix, the Esports World Cup, Steer Studios, Omedia Studio, and the BAFTA Game Awards.
