On September 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum. During his speech, he instructed Russian companies to pay attention to esports and support its development.
Putin noted that esports has gained great popularity all over the world, and Russian esports players “are in the leading positions.”
