Unity will get a new CEO
Unity founder David Helgason is leaving the post of CEO. His place will be taken by John Riccitiello, who headed Electronic Arts from 2007 to 2013. He was one of the investors Oculus. John has been on the Unity board of directors since last November. Helgason is not going to leave the company, he plans to engage in “strategy and communication with developers.”
What does this [Riccitello assignment] mean for Unity? Not much, considering that John completely agrees with our vision and strategy.
