GameAnalytics is available for Unity developers for free
GameAnalytics, a company engaged in analytical services, has announced the beginning of cooperation with Unity Technologies. Together, they will transfer GameAnalytics technologies and tools to the Unity Asset Store, which should make the life of game developers much easier. This is reported in the official press release.
Thanks to this partnership, GameAnalytics tools will allow Unity developers free tools for processing and analyzing a variety of useful data. There is no doubt that the flexible pricing model of GameAnalytics has allowed the company to expand its influence and cover almost 4 thousand games. In total, the company now analyzes data on 30 million players every month.
Discussing the decision to present GameAnalytics tools for free, the company’s executive director Morten E. Wulff said that both firms are very similar at a fundamental level, making it easy for them to cooperate.
“Over the past nine years, Unity has learned to democratize game development for creative teams,” says Wulff, “GameAnalytics sets itself the task of continuing to help developers where Unity ends. We have to help many developers monitor and optimize games, improving user purchase and improving game design, starting from solid facts.”
According to Unity Executive Director David Helgason, the integration of the services of the two companies will open up new opportunities for small and large studios.
