GDC: Havok has introduced a mobile engine

As part of the GDC 2013 conference, Havok, a company specializing in middleware development, announced the Project Anarchy toolkit designed to create three-dimensional mobile games. 

Project Anarchy is a cross-platform full-cycle development engine. According to Havok, it will not only be free to download, but also for commercial use, regardless of the size of the company or the money earned on the project. 

Project Anarchy will include not only the Vision Engine graphics engine, but also its physics engine, as well as animation and artificial intelligence packages. By the way, the latter are actively used for money by console game developers. Among the projects created using Havok tools are Skyrim, Halo, Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted and others.

The engine will be accompanied by game samples and tutorials that will help mobile developers deal with Project Anarchy. 

It is not possible to download the toolkit yet. They promise to publish it closer to the end of spring. In the meantime, all those interested can only register on the official website of the project.
