Unity reported its best quarter in the last six years

Unity released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026. According to its CEO, Matthew Bromberg, the company achieved its highest performance since its stock market debut in 2020.

  • In total, Unity earned $546.5 million from April to June 2026, which is a 24% increase year-over-year.
  • Following the established pattern, the lion's share of revenue came from the Grow Solutions business segment, which focuses on monetization tools, amounting to $389 million. This segment saw a growth of 35%.
  • The Create Solutions business segment, responsible for engine development, generated the remaining $158 million. This was only a 2% increase from the previous year.
  • The main driver of revenue growth was once again the Unity Vector advertising platform, powered by artificial intelligence. The company did not specify exactly how much revenue this platform generated.
  • Although Unity still operates at a loss, its net loss significantly reduced in the second quarter, amounting to $23 million. Recall that a year ago, this figure was $107 million.

Amid the strong financial report, Unity's shares rose by 13% in pre-market trading to $40 per share. However, this is still significantly lower compared to their peak when one Unity share was priced at $197 in November 2021.
