Epic Games has unveiled an initial glimpse of Rocket League powered by Unreal Engine 6.

The brief teaser, which lasted just over a minute, hinted at a "new era, new engine," showcasing the Unreal Engine logo marked with a six. The video can be viewed on YouTube.

Currently, there are no specifics available such as launch dates or feature lists, and both Epic and Psyonix haven't shared any insights into the engine as of yet.

In the teaser's description, Psyonix simply states, "What. A. Moment. The crowd reacts to the new era of Rocket League."

The latest stable version of Unreal Engine is 5.7. It offers developers the capability to create detailed, immersive environments and render them in real-time with high fidelity on modern hardware.

This version allows for the procedural generation of dense foliage and content on a large scale, creating complex materials with physical accuracy, and using significantly more lighting options for artistic flexibility.
