Unity has started the open beta test of an AI assistant for game development

The company Unity announced the release of the beta version of Unity AI — an AI-based toolset integrated into the editor, which allows for faster game development.

According to the company, the AI assistant can create assets, sound, and playable scenes based on their text descriptions. There is no need to detail every aspect in the prompt; for example, you can simply provide references for certain game elements.

It is reported that Unity AI understands the context of the games it works with and takes into account the specifics of the Unity engine.

Unity noted that all processes are under the developers' control. If desired, any changes that Unity AI makes to the game can be adjusted or even canceled.

More information about Unity AI can be read here.

The release date for the full version of Unity AI has not yet been announced.
