A visual scripting tool for Godot has been made publicly available on GitHub
The developer known as Henrique Henrique has released the Hengo project as open source. This is a solution that allows working with Godot without needing to know GDScript, by building flowcharts.
The tool's website states that Hengo can:
- track and debug game logic (with logic visualization);
- display flowcharts as code in real time;
- save all dynamic changes made.
The developer notes that the tool is far from complete, yet it is already possible to test and work with it.
Incidentally, both Unreal and Unity have had their own visual scripting solutions for some time. The arrival of a similar tool for Godot was only a matter of time.
