A preview version of the Unity 6 engine has been released
Unity continues to improve its engine. She released a preview version of Unity 6 with accelerated rendering, artificial intelligence-based tools and various optimizations for multiplayer games.
In particular, Unity has added Sentis to the Unity engine, a cross—platform solution that allows the use of AI during development.
In addition, the engine has an Adaptive Probe Volumes function for better global lighting, support for the WebGPU GUI, browser support for Android and iOS, the Multiplayer Center hub, improved tools for creating XR games and much more. According to the company, its engine has become more powerful and much faster. Depending on the content, the CPU load during rendering will now decrease by 30-50%.
