Sony has confirmed that Connie Booth, vice president of game development, has left the company
At the beginning of the week, the creator of the God of War series, David Jaffe, citing sources, said that Connie Booth, one of the iconic figures of the gaming division, had left Sony. Now a Sony representative has confirmed in a comment to Axios that Booth no longer works for the company.
"We are grateful to Connie for her great contribution to the development of the company and wish her all the best in her future endeavors," said a Sony representative.
He did not name the reasons for Booth's departure.
Recall that Booth worked at Sony for 34 years. For the past three years, she has served as Vice President of Game Development. According to MobyGames, Booth is involved in the creation of more than 120 titles, including Syphon Filter, Ratchet & Clank and The Last of Us.
