WN Media Group has announced a new WN Connect event that will take place in Shanghai on July 27. It is expected to bring together over 200 games industry professionals from Tencent, ByteDance, 505 Games, and other companies.

WN Connect Shanghai’23 attendees will gather at the Jumeirah Himalayas hotel located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. The event will take place ahead of ChinaJoy, the largest digital entertainment expo and conference in China and Asia.
The program for the upcoming WN Connect is yet to be announced. According to WN Media Group, the list of companies to attend the event includes NetEase, Tencent, 505 Games, ByteDance, yodo1, and Tilting Point.
The in-person event is invitation-only, so those interested can register to get approved by the organizers (it is only for people working in the games industry). The first 150 tickets are free, and one company can only get two.
Those unable to attend WN Connect Shanghai’23 in person will have a chance to get online access via the WN Hub communication platform. A dedicated section will be running from July 4 to August 10.
WN Connect are usually small events for 100-150 people dedicated to the local games industry. Attendees can share their experiences and discuss business topics in a relaxed atmosphere.
WN Connect Shanghai’23 is the fourth WN Connect hosted in China. The three previous events, two in Shenzhen and one in Beijing, brought together over 400 local games industry professionals combined.
