The studio involved in the development of Kirby and the Forgotten Land has closed

Japanese Vanpool announced the dissolution of the studio. The reasons for the closure are not given.

Vanpool was founded in 1999. She released two debut games — Endonesia and Coloball 2002 — on PS2, but she did all the other titles already for Nintendo consoles. In recent years, the studio has actively helped HAL Laboratory with the development of games about Kirby, in particular, she had a hand in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
