Gameloft announces game on Unreal Engine

The French publisher and developer of mobile games presented to the public his first game on the engine from Epic Games – the gloomy slasher Wild Blood.

The project, which resembles the Infinity Blade series in style, seems to be a third-person action game, whose action takes place in the scenery of the fantasy Middle Ages.

It is still unknown how Gameloft is going to monetize Wild Blood. Most likely, the company will choose a distribution model that has proven itself well in projects such as The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man. Recall that they were sold in the markets at a price of $ 6.99, and also widely supported IAP. The same model was used in the Infinity Blade series, allowing the second part to earn $5 million in the first month of release.

The game will be Gameloft’s debut project on the Unreal Engine. However, the company is already familiar with the Epic engine. In February 2011, she reported that she was developing a third-person shooter in the World War II setting on it. But already in September 2011, Gameloft closed the project.

There is no official data on the release date of the company’s new IP – Wild Blood. It is known that it will be released in the near future on iOS and Android.
