Netflix will open a mobile game development studio in Finland — it will be the first that the company founded from scratch
The new studio will be located in Helsinki. It will be led by Marko Lastikka, former vice president of the Finnish branch of Zynga.
Recall that Netflix already has a game studio in Helsinki — Next Games, which created Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales and The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land. Its purchase became known in March 2022. In addition to her, Netflix owns the American Boss Fight Entertainment and Night School Studio.
