VK and RTU MIREA launch Bachelor's program in game development

VK has announced a new educational initiative. Together with the teachers of RTU MIREA, she developed a bachelor’s program in which students will be taught how to make games.

According to the company, the training will take place in an online form and will last three months. During this time, students will be told about the development of server applications in Java, the creation of games on Unity and the basics of game design. According to VK, subsequently the best graduates will be able to apply for a place in its studios.

Also in a comment for TASS, the VK press service added that so far the program is designed for three groups of 30 people per year. But in two years, about 350 people will be able to study at the same time.

The Department of Instrumental and Applied Software of RTU MIREA will become the graduating department.
