Wargaming has closed its development studio in Finland
Sad news from Wargaming. The Belarusian Gaming Corporation dissolves Wargaming Helsinki after three years of work, and also closes the project on which it worked.

Keith Kawahata. He did not share specific reasons, but noted that the industry is cruel, and development does not always go according to plan.

As far as can be understood from Kawahata’s post, Wargaming is not going to deploy the main pool of developers Wargaming Helsinki to other divisions.
With the closure of the studio, a number of industry veterans began looking for a new job.

Until the end of 2016, Wargaming Helsinki was an independent Boomlagoon studio. The latter is known primarily as a company founded by a leading server programmer and a leading artist of the original Angry Birds.
Founded in 2012, the studio has not released a single hit or even a strong product on the mobile market. All her games – Noble Nutlings, Monsu and Spirit Hunter –failed in sales.
At the time of the sale of Wargaming, the studio was developing a clone of Clash Royale – Super Soldiers.
