The developer of the 3D editor Blender has released a free open source game engine
Slovak startup Lubos has made the Armory version 0.4 3D game engine publicly available. Lubos is known as the author of the popular software package for three-dimensional modeling Blender.
Armory refers to open source software. The engine resources are published on the GitHub platform. The engine supports development for various platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, consoles, mobile and others.
Armory integrates with the Blender editor, creating a single tool for creating games and three-dimensional graphics.
According to the creator of Armory, the development of the engine was funded with contributions collected on the Patreon platform.
