GitHub will release an extension for Unity
GitHub, a web service for the joint development of IT projects, has announced the “GitHub for Unity” extension, which will allow game creators, programmers and artists to integrate the capabilities of Git and GitHub into their work.
The extension will allow you to open and configure individual windows with the contents of git projects directly in the Unity editor. It also supports Git LFS v2.0 capabilities for storing large amounts of binary data and file blocking options, which is useful if the development team operates with arrays of data whose merging is difficult.
The preliminary release of the extension is scheduled in a few weeks, and it will appear in the public domain immediately after completion.
