Games on the Unity engine were downloaded 16 billion times last year
In 2016, Unity games were installed 16 billion times on mobile devices. In comparison with 2015, the indicator increased by 31%.
The number of mobile devices on which Unity games have been installed has reached 2.6 billion – a billion more than a year ago.
Unity CEO John Riccitiello claims that today 38% of mobile games use Unity.
Speaking about the operation of the engine, Riccitello noted that developers have become 38% less likely to contact the creators for support, at the same time the customer base has expanded by 40%.
Unity is a cross—platform engine for creating video games on PC, consoles, mobile devices and websites.
