Game development: 7 useful resources
There is not much news today, so instead of our daily column, there is a selection of useful resources for game developers.
1. Gamedev
A site that hardly anyone has not heard of.
Created specifically for developers. It contains a lot of useful information for developers of all stripes – from beginners to pros.
There is also a blog with tips for game programmers.
3. Udemy
A Coursera type site (which we’ll get to later).
Some of the courses are designed for game programmers. Some are free, some will have to be paid for. The price for paid courses starts from $9.
4. Coursera
The site is widely known in Runet.
Offers courses for a variety of tastes. Including the development of games.
5. GameInstitute
A resource for online learning.
There is an extensive library, training videos, courses and a developer forum. Minus – access to almost all resources is paid.
6. CodeCombat
A site where it is proposed to learn how to code by playing a game.
By the way, quite a good one.
7. FutureLearn
Another resource with online courses.
On the plus side, there are many free courses among them.
