The developer and publisher of role-playing games, Owlcat Games, has launched a page on its official website with links to resources dedicated to video game creation.

The initiative is called GameDev Learning Drop. It was launched by Owlcat Games in collaboration with Midwest Games, Fireshine Games, Gaijin Entertainment, and 11 Bit Studios.

This is a collection of links to books, YouTube channels, blogs, as well as individual videos, courses, and articles on development. All content is segmented by specialization and format.

The motivation for launching GameDev Learning Drop is described by the company as a desire to do something positive for developers who need support in challenging times for the industry.

Currently, the knowledge base contains over 350 links. Owlcat Games plans to gradually expand it with other useful resources and materials.

"Any developer or publisher can submit material for review," a company representative noted in a press release.

The company also stated that they are extremely proud of the project and believe that supporting openly accessible knowledge promotes collaboration and fosters connections.
