A programming course for six-year-olds based on Minecraft has been released
Based on the platform Code.org A short course has appeared designed to interest young Minecraft fans in programming.
The program, which has a total of 14 tasks, is made in the style of Markus Persson’s game and is designed for students from 6 years old.
There is no need to write code as part of the course. It is enough to drag the existing javascript commands with the mouse to meet the requirements of the tasks.
The program is a joint initiative of the learning programming platform Code.org , where you can find courses for a much older audience, Microsoft and owned by the latest Mojang.
The launch of the course is timed to coincide with the third annual Hour of Programming (Hour of Code), a campaign aimed at spreading computer science.
