On September 23, GP CONF 2026, a conference for web game developers, will take place in Moscow

On September 23, Moscow will host the GP CONF 2026 conference for the third time, dedicated to the web games market. GP CONF 2026 will bring together developers, publishers, platforms, and other industry representatives to discuss the creation, launch, promotion, and monetization of games.

As last year, GP CONF will be held at AG Loft, located at 33 Varshavskoe Shosse, Building 3.

Who Should Attend GP CONF 2026

The conference will be beneficial for publishers, gaming platform representatives, producers, game designers, business development managers, marketing and monetization specialists, as well as companies seeking new games, teams, or partners. Primarily a business conference, it will offer insights into trends, market operations, and how companies and developers thrive and grow within it.

Presentations, Practice, and Market Discussion

The GP CONF 2026 program features industry expert presentations, workshops, and discussions in two streams. Organizers focus on practical experience: real case studies, experimental results, and solutions that can be applied to one’s own projects.

Several conference speakers have already been announced.

  • Vladimir Kovtun will discuss the web game development pipeline in the AI era. In his career, he has worked on projects like Tanki Online, Distrust: Polar Survival, Beholder, and Hot Wheels Infinite Loop.
  • Yan Yankelovitz, a market expert and development director with over 15 years in IT, will speak about trends and the development of long-lasting web games.
  • Sergey Yoponashnikov, CEO and founder of GamePush, will talk about player retention through social mechanics and new multiplayer features. Participants can also test the technology themselves at the conference, beyond the usual presentation format.
  • Alexander Shchevelev, head of the Maningame studio, will deliver a talk on IAP monetization, AI usage in game development, and market directions.

The speaker list is still being finalized, so the program will continue to grow. If you wish to share your professional experience and speak at GP CONF 2026, you can submit an application on the conference website.

An Opportunity to Showcase Your Game to Experts

A key aspect of GP CONF 2026 is the showcase zone.

Developers can bring their projects, allow other participants to try them out, and personally present them to industry representatives. This is a chance for smaller teams to receive feedback from experts, colleagues, and players, and simultaneously introduce their games to publishers, platforms, and potential partners.

Applications to participate in the GP CONF 2026 showcase are now open. You can fill out the form on the website until September 10.

And Plenty of Networking

GP CONF traditionally places a strong emphasis on networking. In addition to the lecture program, there will be spaces for socializing, meeting speakers, and other market participants, culminating in an after-party.

Networking is a compelling reason to attend the conference in person. The right publisher, developer, platform representative, or future partner might not be on stage but at the table next to you during a coffee break. GP CONF 2026 organizers have established a convenient meeting scheduling system, allowing you to reserve a time slot with someone of interest in advance.

For developers, this is an opportunity to showcase projects and gain contacts for further development. For publishers and platforms, it’s a chance to scout new games and meet teams. For business representatives, it’s a way to discuss partnerships without weeks of emails and calls.
