IGN Entertainment hosts the Women In Gaming networking event at Gamescom

On Wednesday, August 26, IGN Entertainment will organize a Women in Gaming networking breakfast during Gamescom. The gathering, which is supported by GamesIndustry.biz, is set to be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Köln.

The event will commence with a curated presentation on Gaming Trends and provide a platform for women and community supporters in the gaming industry to network over breakfast. This opportunity aims to foster connections that can continue throughout Gamescom and after. The event is complimentary, but the number of tickets is limited. This breakfast follows previous successful Women in Gaming events, including ones held during IGN Live in Los Angeles in June and in London in April in collaboration with media agency Dentsu. These events featured various presentations and panels with contributions from female gaming industry leaders from companies like Xbox, EA, CD Projekt Red, Sony, and IO Interactive. Discussions during these events revolved around building successful brand partnerships and strategies for women achieving career longevity in leadership roles.
