IGN Entertainment is introducing a Women In Gaming networking event at Gamescom

On Wednesday, August 26th, IGN Entertainment is set to organize a Women in Gaming networking breakfast at Gamescom. The event, backed by GamesIndustry.biz, will be held at the Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Köln from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Participants will have the chance to enjoy breakfast while attending a curated presentation on Gaming Trends. This gathering aims to facilitate networking among women and allies in the gaming industry, establishing connections that will extend throughout the Gamescom week and beyond. Free tickets are available, though they are limited, and can be requested here.

This event builds upon prior successful Women in Gaming events by IGN, held in Los Angeles in June and London in April. These earlier events, in collaboration with the media agency Dentsu, featured presentations and panels led by female leaders from notable companies like Xbox, EA, CD Projekt Red, Sony, and IO Interactive. Discussions centered on topics such as establishing effective brand partnerships and ensuring prolonged career success for women in leadership roles.
