The WN Growth Summit took place in Limassol. Here are the results
Last week, on May 28, one of the largest cities in Cyprus hosted the WN Growth Summit Limassol’26. The event focused on the growth of the gaming business. Below are the main takeaways from the event.
In total, more than 150 people from 104 companies attended the WN Growth Summit Limassol’26. An overwhelming majority of the guests—73% to be exact—were owners, founders, and CEOs. The event was attended by representatives from Owlcat Games, Helio Games, MY.GAMES, Xsolla, Playgama, and many other organizations.
The summit was held in a networking format. There were no lectures—participants shared their expertise during round tables, as well as worked in groups.
Some activities generated particular excitement. For instance:
- The round table “Content as a Growth Driver: From Games to Content-Oriented Products” saw participation from Patrik Wilkens of Mournival Consulting, Nikita Ibragimov from GameGears, Arina Safronova from TheSoul Group, and a number of other experts;
- The round table “What Really Drives Growth: Latest Trends in UA and Alternative Distribution?” was sponsored and participated in by Xsolla, with discussions including Sola Saulenko from MY.GAMES, Elena Kostina from Vizor Games, Arseny Khlebtsev from Unity, and Manuel Prueter from Colossi Games;
- An interactive session “Building Strategy in Uncertainty” led by Ekaterina Miroshnichenko from SOTA. The list of participants included the legendary Russian game development figure Sergey Orlovsky from Helio Games, Mike Fischer from Firstpoint VC, Alex Siamantas from Holyday Studios, among others.
Furthermore, the investment breakfast by GameXCap garnered significant interest. During this, the founder of the syndicate and WN Media Group, Pavel Ryäikkönen, discussed the current state of investments in the gaming market with the event guests.
The summit guests were pleased with the event.
