Sony's State of Play event this summer prominently featured God of War, Wolverine, graphic content, and release dates that strategically avoid clashing with Grand Theft Auto releases

Sony's recent State of Play event unveiled several new gaming titles and their launch dates. Highlights included detailed looks at Marvel's Wolverine and God of War Laufey from the internal studios Insomniac and Sony Santa Monica.

A notable emphasis was on action titles with graphic content. Several games announced for release in September and October seemingly aim to avoid the competition with the November 19 launch of GTA 6.
