The program for the WN Growth Summit has been published — the event will discuss what can drive sales growth in the modern gaming industry
The summit is happening very soon — in two weeks, on May 28th. From 9 AM to 5 PM, industry experts will share their experiences, cases, and advice with each other in a roundtable format.
Six sessions are planned in total.
- It all begins with an investor breakfast hosted by GameXCap (by the way, you don’t need an event ticket to participate), where Pavel Ryaykkonen, founder of the syndicate and WN Media Group, will discuss his initiated project with guests, as well as current challenges faced by funds and indie teams seeking funding.
- The following will be a roundtable on “Content as a Growth Driver: from Games to Content-Oriented Products.” It will be led by a trio: Patrik Wilkens from Mournival Consulting, Nikita Ibragimov from GameGears, and Maria Amirkhanyan, an expert on user behavior in video games.
- The second major session will involve Yulia Chernenko from Owlcat Games and Mark Caplan, responsible for licensing at Xsolla Agency. The topic is: “IP Licensing in the Entertainment Industry as a Growth Strategy: From Movies and Series to Gaming Franchises.”
- The next panel focuses on team building and is aptly titled, “Where to Form Teams Today, and Where It’s Better Not To.” The discussion will cover all major hubs and their working specifics. Information about its moderators is not yet available.
- The final roundtable will be led by Olga Saulenko from MY.GAMES and Elena Kostina from Vizor Games, with participation and sponsorship from Xsolla. Its theme is: “What Really Drives Growth: The Latest Trends in UA and Alternative Distribution?”
- WN Growth Summit will conclude with an interactive interview. Ekaterina Miroshnichenko from SOTA will discuss “Building Strategy in Uncertain Conditions” with a legend of the Russian-speaking gaming industry — Sergey Orlovsky.
You can find out more about the event program on the website.
Let us remind you that WN Growth Summit is an annual series of events conducted in a networking format. No lectures. Instead, collaborative group work and active discussions at roundtables. Each topic features its own moderator to set the pace and a timer of one and a half hours.
