Housemarque, a game developer from Finland, is slated to deliver a presentation at the upcoming Nordic Game conference regarding their new game, Saros.

The presentation titled 'Lessons from Carcosa: Art & Design Direction for Saros,' will feature insights from brand director Mikael Haveri, associate design director Mitja Roskaric, and art director Simone Silvestri. They will explore the integration of art and design with the studio’s core gameplay philosophy.

Housemarque is part of the impressive roster at Nordic Game 2026. Details of the complete lineup can be found here.

The event program also boasts industry figures like Mat Ombler from Laced Music, marketing expert Junae Benne, and Martin Walfisz, founder of Connecting the Pixel.

Additionally, a State of the Industry 2026 panel will gather specialists from Newzoo, Game Advisor, Embracer Group, and Mighty Diamonds for discussion.

Last week, the conference announced its Masterclass Friday lineup, which promises in-depth courses and sessions led by professionals in game creation.

Nordic Game will showcase over 100 developers in the Developer Showcase Hall, an event held by indie community Spelkollektivet.

Participants from more than 25 countries — including regions like the Nordic countries, Japan, China, Ukraine, and South Africa — will engage with publishers, investors, the media, and fellow industry colleagues.

Tickets for the Nordic Game 2026 are accessible here. Note that the final ticket price will rise on May 1, 2026.

The conference will be held in Malmö, Sweden, at the Slagthuset, from May 26 to May 29.
