The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) in the United States is organizing iicon, a new summit featuring a noted lineup of speakers. Among the headlining figures is EA Sports CEO Andrew Wilson, alongside other prominent guests like Strauss Zelnick of Take Two, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot, Dylan Jadeja from Riot, and Brian Ward of Savvy Games Group.

The event is scheduled for April 27-29 at the Fontainbleu Resort in Las Vegas, aiming to unite business leaders and key figures from diverse fields to explore emerging opportunities in the realm of interactive entertainment. Wilson and Zelnick will open the conference, with Guillemot, Jadeja, and Ward speaking on the second day.

Additional presentations feature personalities like WWE's Xavier Woods and sports executive Ronnie 2K from 2K, who will discuss how global audiences engage with talent. Executives from MLB and NBA will highlight storytelling through gaming, while Story Kitchen, known for the Sonic the Hedgehog films, will explore the adaptation of game intellectual property for cinematic purposes.

IGN Entertainment is set to host a breakout session focused on data, revealing insights from its upcoming "Generations in Play" research. Karl Stewart, IGN Entertainment's SVP and Head of the IMAGINE AI platform, will converse with Brent Koning, Dentsu's Global Head of Gaming, about generational media consumption patterns. GamesIndustry.biz will also participate in other yet-to-be-announced segments.

The speaker roster also includes individuals from Roblox, Amazon, The New York Times, Creative Artists Agency, and Goldman Sachs. Details about the agenda can be found on the iicon website, with additional sessions to be shared soon.

The launch of iicon represents ESA's first major initiative following the conclusion of the E3 showcase, which was held annually from 1995 until 2021 but was later discontinued in 2023. Announced in 2025, ESA President Stanley Pierre-Lewis emphasized the event's focus on bringing together visionaries to foster innovation within interactive entertainment.
