Three gaming industry conferences are set to take place at EGX during MCM London Comic Con in October

This year, EGX will feature three gaming industry summits during MCM London Comic Con.

ReedPop, the event's organizer, disclosed on September 11, 2025, that the upcoming convention will host the PopCultr Marketing Summit, an Investment Summit, and a Creator Summit.

Pioneering the Investment Summit, in collaboration with Game Republic, the event presents indie developers with the chance to learn about obtaining game investment.

The summit will showcase a keynote by Peter Moore, the former EA Sports executive, along with Chris Dring, who leads The Games Business as editor-in-chief and previously headed GamesIndustry.biz.

As part of the summit, a GamesIndustry.biz panel discussion on investment will be led by features editor Lewis Packwood. The panel includes Cassia Curran from Curran Games Agency, Lirui Dring of Transcend Fund, Simon Byron from Yogcast Games, and Meg Clarke from Team 17.

Additional panel discussions and roundtables for the Investment Summit are yet to be announced.

The Creator Summit is designed to provide creators with insights to enhance their careers, develop their personal brand, and collaborate with businesses.

This event features a series of panels with industry figures discussing subjects such as events, the UK's Online Safety Act (OSA), and brand collaborations.

Returning for a third year, Experience12's PopCultr Marketing Summit connects marketing professionals, helping them navigate the evolving landscape of IP growth, storytelling, and fan interaction. Interested participants can pre-register here.

All summits, scheduled for October 24, 2025, at Excel London, are accessible without charge to holders of an MCM London Comic Con industry pass or creator pass.
