The 2025 DevGamm event in Lisbon has announced Peter Molyneux as its keynote speaker

The renowned founder of 22cans, Peter Molyneux, is set to deliver the keynote speech at the DevGamm event in Lisbon in 2025.

This international conference, which focuses on the gaming industry, will occur on November 6-7, 2025, at Lisbon's Myriad Hotel. Attendees can expect a variety of activities including presentations, workshops, networking sessions via MeetToMatch, and more than 60 showcased games.

DevGamm, which originated in 2008 as FlashGamm, is dedicated to connecting game developers globally through its events. The previous year’s Lisbon event attracted notable speakers like John Romero and Warren Spector, with 800 attendees marking a record turnout.

The Lisbon conference is part of a broader DevGamm week in Portugal, which also includes the Madeira Games Summit, taking place on November 3-4, 2025, geared towards executives.

Alongside Molyneux, other speakers scheduled for DevGamm Lisbon 2025 include Abby LeMaster from Riot Games, Nikola Stoyanov from Ubisoft Sofia, Adam Boyes of Vivaro, Tulay McNally from Scopely, Miguel Oliveira from Druids AI, and Maria Borys from Flying Wild Hog/Merry Tale Games.

Additional speakers will be disclosed in September.

Interested participants can still enter a game for consideration in the DevGamm awards until the deadline of September 1, 2025.

The awards aim to highlight lesser-known industry talents and welcome entries from AA and indie developers, offering a top prize of $100,000 along with additional rewards exceeding $30,000 across various categories.
